The recent idiot in Cal all he had was 10 rounders for all his weapons. Yup it was the mag capacity that slowed him up, with 34+ loaded magsLeave a comment:

yup Virgina tech didnt even have 15 round mags he had 10-12 round mags, Sure stopped him from killing 30 some people, just think if he had 15 round mags egad's
Yup this will make everyone safer in a state with high gun crimes and nearly the most restrictive firearm state laws in the country already on the books. The federal AWB's 10 round mag limit sure slowed down Harris at Columbine in 96 too huh he had 13 ten round mags and got off something like a 100 rounds
I am fairly sure that NJ has had a safari class rifle caliber ban for a long ass time now anyway. I mean who really "needs" a 577 Tyrannosaur or a .600 Nitro Express.... .58 caliber Muzzle loader
If Christie signs it hes not going to be able to run for National office............... One way or another this will be a signal of what his intentions are.....Last edited by mrsleeve; 05-22-2014, 08:18 PM.Leave a comment:

This makes tons of sense. I'm sure someone with bad intentions could never bring mags in from another state, or the even more difficult endeavor of removing the pins from modified capacity magazines. Banning .50's too? A .338 is no less lethal than a .50, the only difference is there's a little bit of skin and ligaments holding your torso together vs it being completely separated.
Fear driven flinch decisions instead of rational ones to solves issues such as mental illness or the culture of firearms in the states.Leave a comment:

No one needs 15 rounds
The New Jersey state Assembly on Thursday sent Governor Chris Christie a gun control bill that would limit the capacity of gun ammunition magazines, but it was unclear whether the Republican governor would sign the measure into law. Christie, widely perceived as a possible White House contender in 2016, has a mixed record on gun control and has given no indication of his plans for the measure. The bill, approved in the Assembly by a 44-34 vote, would cut the maximum capacity of gun magazines to 10 from 15. Gun control groups say it could save lives.
Sounds sensible. Let's hope Christie signs.Tags: None
