I wouldnt call a ~40-60 split in non super delegate, pledged delegates "successful".

Not trying to be blind to the odds, but clinton imo looks like a fool whenever she debates bernie, thats why she constantly avoids all these new debates bernie wants to debate at.

The only reason she is getting massive amounts of votes is people dont know who bernie is because they are ignorant of politics, and they know the clinton name.

It's not that hard, but sitting around asking for shit to be handed to you isn't the right way of doing things. There are incredible opportunities out there to be had, you just have to be willing to put in the foot work.
So so so so true. Back in middle school/high-school I started doing garden work for people in town with some cheap basic tools, then bought a mower with profit, then more equipment until I had so much business I was turning people down because I didn't have time. That's how I bought my first car, and the nitro gas powered RC cars that fueled the car lust. Some of that money also paid for college. At the same time I had friends who complained they couldn't find work....

With both Bernie & Trump it's clear to see that "we the people" are desperately wanting something different, something authentic and something much different than what either party leaders want to shove down our throat.
    Yes, that is exactly it.

I think it's interesting to watch how panicked the "establishments" are. I hate to use that word, but both the democratic & republican establishments are shitting themselves on who "the people" are choosing.

Hillary cannot draw a crowd anywhere, Bernie fills stadiums, yet she wins all these super delegates that keeps her relevant.

Meanwhile the republican establishment is thinking "oh fuck, we should have stopped this months ago" with the lead trump is taking. One by one their guy has bowed out and after tuesday, it looks like rubio won't have much chance even with all of Jebs old money now backing him so now they have to cart out Romney to try and stop trump at the convention.

Sorry but how can you blame a company, or a person for finding and exploiting loopholes to get out of paying taxes etc? I mean sure, it'd be nice if everybody paid on the honor system but that's just silly. That blame belongs to the government and the regulations/lack there of that allow this to continue. I mean the entire point of creating a company or a business or whatever is to make money (sure there are fantastic examples of where this isn't true, but they're the exception). That's the bottom line. Sure, it'd be nice if every business exhibited some form of corporate social responsibility, but there's no legal requirement and ironically for the most part, CSR is driven by profit. So again, how can you fault a business or a person or whatever for increasing profit by avoiding taxes if they can get away with it? That's the government's responsibility to make sure it doesn't happen.

Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.
I love how we're all the poor here and we're arguing about welfare and benefits. If you have to work, you're the poor. If you have over $10m in assets, you don't have to work. I don't think anyone here is in that income strata. How does the tax breaks and corporate welfare really compare to the minor leeching of actual welfare that is actually keeping food on the tables of people who would otherwise starve and die? Exodus, I'm sorry you went through that. But you made it without it, good job. So while it would have been easier, you can't say you had no other options. I thought welfare/food stamps were there for the people that actually can't make it? The SSA's own reporting puts disability fraud at less than 1% last time I ran across a report and the SSA has a large anti fraud department. That's really not that bad imo. I don't know other agencies and the other forms of welfare, but I can't imagine that they try to actively overlook fraud.

What we're essentially arguing about is how to make our lives better and who to take the money from to do so. So we are arguing two extremes here. The people on welfare who have nothing except what's given to them every month or the people buying senators to get their companies out of paying taxes? I just don't get how anyone here is seriously arguing that.

If I ever reach the point where I'm paying $15,000 a month in income taxes, oh man, I am going to be so happy to do so.

was not "bashing" education, I was pointing out how many people cant ever see past it and take it as the gospel......

Education is a an important thing, and there is more than one way to get it, at the "university" is not the only viable means nor the only education one should have

You hate these ideas till your on your ass in the street with no one to help you, I knew people talking shit about gov healthcare until their employer fucked them in the ass and they were not in perfect health.

Too many people wanting each extreme and not a middle ground. Right wanting it to be 1800s small gov again (not knowing they would be fucked) and left wanting no one to ever work again (that'll happen with robots eventually anyway lol)
Which is why they all suck. Both sides have become too entrenched.

The system is beyond repair by a conservative's standards. To a liberal, it just needs to be tweaked.
