Nope serious question after listening to a political science professor talk about this
He is liberal, and was making the point how liberalism used to be, in many ways, live and let live, tolerance for opposing viewpoints, etc

The modern Left is not any way like this, and his point was there is a difference

His thought was there is a faction of people who are so far left that they are in fact not liberal

Toungue in cheek man. I honestly dont hold ill feelings towards you. But this post and yours, honestly, both felt like troll attempts - if there was some talk or speech you had in mind, you could have referenced it.

Certainly there is extremeism on both sides - but its not the core. Unless you believe anyone who doesnt support trump hates america (couldn't be further from the truth) or is a closet anarchist (imo just people who justify looting and vandalism).
