if you're going to go hardline on that point, it's a bit hypocritical to make the excuse that drumpf was just "operating within the given framework".
i think that indicates that both of you are tacitly acknowledging that what we have in place is not enough to prevent bad actors from doing things that are detrimental to our economy and society as a whole; and that situation is why we do sometimes need laws like Dodd-Frank; whether or not that might align with your ideals as libertarians, or mine as anarchist.
Hmmm, I don't think it would be fair to put me as far right as sleeve, it's plainly obvious that there are very needed and helpful regulations in all sector of the economy.
EPA in Ohio. Deregulation of banks allowing the massive run CDOs that ruined housing, etc. We could go on and on and on about much regulation that has been helpful.........and we could do the same thing on regulations that have been detrimental.
And yes, I plainly stated, "He played by the rules to his advantage. If you think the rules are flawed, then change the rules."
I'm not saying I don't think the rules are jacked, they are, but he played by them.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

People are trying to find any reason to say Trump colluded with Russia. It's BS... he won the election because people were angry at the Dems for putting Hillary in as candidate. She was not, and still is not a good presidential candidate. She did a good job losing.Estoguy

Hillary was a horrible candidate no doubt but Trump is a horrible President. He has no clue what it is to serve, no interest in helping anyone but himself and will most likely not stop his nonsense until even staunch Republicans go against him.
Also whether he or his campaign colluded there is no doubt the Russians meddled extensively in the election.Last edited by parkerbink; 06-13-2017, 06:51 PM.

The best analogy I heard was on the Daily show. Hillary was like being hit by a car, you have a broken leg, maybe a broken rib but you are going to be ok. Trump is like being hit by a car, run over backward again and killed.

Even if Russians are responsible for the leaks of information about HRC/Dems, they'd have nothing to worry about if they had nothing to hide.
