...yeah. the army already got in touch, this week. i don't even know how they found me. i've moved three times since i got out, the last time very recently, and the DMV and post office don't have my new address yet.

downside: the training for the job they're throwing at me is 45 weeks, on the other side of the country. if i have to do that and then another deployment, i'm looking at at least two more years of active duty, at a considerable pay cut from what i'm making now.

you don't know enough about opsec/comsec/infosec to have this discussion, guy from oklahoma. that's why an army lieutenant didn't find you at a bar in a city where you don't have a registered address.

uh yeah- that's the exact argument you made. how do you think we're being tracked, via the internet, other than social media and app usage? those are the current mechanisms for collecting intel. they found isis guys because they were dumb enough to post geo-tagged pictures with GPS data on instagram. do you think that isn't being stored and analyzed?
