That is such an accurate comment! Great commentary. And one you seem to agree with! Powerful interests and corporations control the big mainstream news, or they are corporations themselves, and manipulate it for their bottom-line and vested interests. Anyone reading this here is going to agree. But certainly speak out if you don't!

No, its not the same thing, even a little. Corporations are not tyrannies. I disagree with shareholder motivations on reporting news, but that is not me admitting that I agree that corporations are tyrranies. That is insane thinking and only used to justify the tearing down of the entire system. Label something a tyrant, and you get to kill it. The label is what counts with "thinkers" like you and Noam.

And, No!! The Country is not "the best it's ever been." How do you figure that? The country has never been so unequal. There has never been so many people incarcerated. The country has never been in so much debt, whether we are talking the government, or numbers of individuals. There's never been so many people bankrupted because they couldn't afford their medical bills! The country is probably more divided and polarized than ever before. Lifespan in this country is going down and infant mortality and those living below the poverty line is going up. The homeless population around me has gone up 20% in the past year, when I drive to work I often wonder if that person lying over there is dead on the sidewalk. Job quality is overall worse. Job availability is definitely worse. Pay has more or less flat-lined for decades!

First off, I never said its the best its ever been. I said it is the best nation to have ever existed, period. We have our problems to be sure, but being black in America, for instance, is not a death sentence. That's a lie. You do not seem capable of nuanced thought.

Trump works closer and in tandem with Fox News specifically and other conservative news outlets -- OAN for example -- more than any other President in this country's history. He also gives these very manipulative, spun sources legitimacy they do not deserve on the largest most powerful platform available. Needs to be acknowledged.

Bernie Sanders is a life long hack, terrible human being who wants power for himself and no one else. I am not snowed by Donald J. Trump. I know he loves power just the same as Bernie, but I am not naive enough to think that DJT only wants what's best for me. But I do know for a fact that his record has shown he is NOT a tyrant and not after "fundamentally changing America" like Biden and Bernie and Hillary and Obama want to do.

You're assigning beliefs to me that I don't hold. I was never arguing about Bernie Sanders or what he believes in. I don't care about that argument at all (or about Sanders for that matter) - it's completely pointless, he isn't running for president. You're trying to take his beliefs and pin it on anyone that seems even slightly left of you (which is probably most of the population).

You seem to think that you can skirt your participation in the very obvious contention that Bernie is a Socialist simply by saying he is not relevant. Note, if you had some honesty (and balls), you would say "Yeah, he is a socialist, completely, but since he is not up for election, its a moot point." Instead, you just skirt the discussion and then tell everyone they are nuts for even talking about Bernie when there are cohorts of yours somehow implying that he is not a socialist.
