    Flickr?

    I barely knowr...

Is Flickr the preferred way to share photos on forum posts nowadays? Weighing my options, what's everyone using in 2025?

Another Flickr thumbs up from me.

Host all of my numerous photos on there. Price just went up, but oh well.

Flickr is good for those who utilize it's potential. Pro photographers or people who want to keep everything within albums and organized.

To throw something else out there --- IMGUR is good too - stupid simple and is free. It is a completely different type of community photo/meme site - but I've been happy with using it to host random photos and linking them here.

I use Flickr specifically as a photography/work portfolio. The biggest drawback - in terms of a forum photo host - is the photo limit. A free account is limited to 1,000 photos, regardless of size.

I use this website to host the photos I post here. But I also size them down before posting to here, per the size limits. So that is an additional step. But at least it's tied to this website, not relying on another one if that other site goes down.

I use Imgur sometimes, can't remember what for, but it is simple and reliable to just upload there and then link to here.
