dude i tried to get the crome fender moldings off yester day , they are rivited on, thats why i asked it was an option and came factory in 83/84. and yes i know the crome fender moldings look gay, even the crome window moldings i dont like.

just wanted to add something: you said something about looking for BBS wheels. don't go broke on wheels. at this point you don't need to spend more than, say, $500 on a set of wheels. even $500 is about twice as much as i think you need to spend.

you're ride is fine, just lower it, wash and wax, and put some clean basketweaves on it with proper tires. They'll look nice against bahamabeige..I would get rid of the chrome and weld the holes or find a kit you can buy with front fender flares to cover it up....personally i'd just go with removing them and fixing the holes.

you can get a nice set of basketweaves from someone on the forums shipped to you're door for about 250-275

and YES they're BBS rims also, so you can honestly say you have BBSs

btw, you're right about factory option back in the day there are two out my way that 1984 318i and is with the chrome fender flare.

The body work to remove those fender arches might end up costing more then another e30. I can find e30s cleaner than yours all the time for less than the price of a set of bbs'. (No offense, my cars beat to shit too.) I think you should just start with a different e30.

i paid 300 for this car running. and maybe put around 750 in to so far. im not bitching about money. the rims were FREE..
