Really it is more that high power density (hp/liter) while still remaining "streetable" and reliable is an impressive engineering feat. To the driver of the car and in any other category, it means diddly squat. The F20c could have been replaced with an all-aluminum V6 and come out with more torque, similar or even better mileage (AP1s get like 18 city) and similar weight and weight distribution. But Honda needed to be Honda so they decided to use a tiny engine that revs to all hell. Nothing wrong with that, it's a fun car and the F20 has good boost potential, but from an engineering standpoint they probably could have done better. Don't quote me on this, but as I recall the F20 really isn't all that light either.Statistically speaking, you are right. BUT hp/l a car that can make 100hp/l is a more impressive design than a car that makes 50hp/l. The new Ferrari whatever claims it is the first production car to make 127hp/l from natural aspiration. I don't know if this is true or not.paint sucksComment
