84 and 85 didn't have ABS (and wiring harness plugs). came out in 86 models.

I prefer not having explosives directly in front of my face, although I will admit that I do like e30 ABS, mostly because it virtually never runs (even in winter), and when it does, I treat it as a "you're doing it wrong" signal.

the plug that separates the wiring from the ECU to the motor. if you say that was at least 87 go sell your car and start with another make. i took the motor out of my 86 and put it in my 84. 86 had the wiring harness plug, 84 did not. the 85 i just bought does not either.

Maybe you don't know where to look for it on an early model. It's a small square connector near the fusebox, not the big round connector on the firewall that the 86+ cars had.
I've worked on probably 20 e30's from 84-91, and they've all had the c101 connector. It's in the schematics in the BMW workshop manuals. Someone apparently hacked your cars up, if there is no c101, or you just aren't sure where it is.
Both of my cars are one owner cars, one is an 85, the other is an 87, both left the factory with a c101 connector, just as every other e30 did.Comment

First of all, I think you meant to say the plug that separates the engine wiring harness from the chassis wiring harness. That would be the c101 connector.
