^^^ not only the CSI was available in 6 speed they all were.

850s are by far the sexiest most "supercar" looking BMW...maybe its my byassed view owning a 94 850i... anyways ya costly and high maintenance but these motors are derived from the McClaren just different internals heads and tune but its all basically the same design. only problem is they weigh like 4000lbs. but they ride and feel so luxurious for an old car and wayyy ahead of its time in technology. the other good thing is the full side windows up and tinted or down and open and all the looks/stares you get when in one. i love it!

I don't really give a shit how unreliable these cars are, all you have to do is look at one and want one. S62 and a six speed and you have the most badass BMW ever.

girlfriends father had one of the first 850's in the US. They used his as a maintainence test bed to train the BMW mechanics... He was in the office of the VP of BMW North America dicussing matters pertaining to his car when Steve Dinan walked in. Steve let him drive his twin-turboed 850 as a pace car for a lap around VIR (think it was VIR). The guy is in his 60's and loves to talk, has told me the story multiple times haha

would love them if they retained round headlights. they would have been like a 5-er coupe.

Wait i thought the m70 was more like two m20's put together. How could you run m50 heads on it? If that was the case m20 guys could run m50 heads. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Likely a highly modified block. Looks like they're running NV heads and using the exhaust bank of one head as an intake....seems a bit odd.
