I'll whore myself out! hahah, but really. This is my first time doing this and I must say it's quite the experience. It's really fun. I'd like to take my car to a track some time and really see what I can do. An LSD wouldn't hurt too ;)

we should have a drift thread.
or ill ask my question's here....
what tires are used for drifting? do people use a moderate sticky tire with high psi? or do they use a hard all weather tire that would make it easier to break the traction?]Comment

I do when i have a car that runs. lol. As far as tires go. I run federal 595s. Everyone does cause their cheap and easy to come by. They are not the best tires but if your drifting on 150 whp something less sticky is better.
Ive got falken 512s on my car right now. As soon as i get a chance to burn them off ill decided whether or not to go back to federals...

I can slide 205/50/16 star specs on a stock M42B18. More speed + clutch kick = done deal.
When I competed in the ThunderDrift super-am, I used some Doral 185/60/14s. They sucked. I really prefer sliding on my BFG KDW TA/2s, they had a decent amount of smoke for how underpowered my car is, and they were real consistent. I like sliding on gripper tires (Ecsta XS, Star-specs, KDWs, Azenis), but they're fucking expensive.Comment
