You mean to tell me that you got paid $66 an hour for that? Is that materials included? And that's HALF the typical price?
So if you charged the $4k you plan to a customer will pay ~$130 an hour for your services and have a wrap that lasts 2 years?
In other words you'll pay $5.48 a day for 730 days of enjoyment?
Additionally, when you remove the wrap from your previously painted car, you'll experience serious paint damage and be forced into another 4k re-wrap or a comparably priced paint job.
My certified Jew lawyer doesn't cost that much, damn.

Wait a sec...I thought they paid YOU to wrap your car. LOL. I must be thinking of sponsored cars. With all due respect...what is the motivation to do this? Is it purely for aesthetics? I've seen a lot of NEW BMW's at shows with the matte look vinyl wrap and I always wondered what the hell the owners were thinking. I do think the darker black/gray colors look sinister in a matte finish though.
Edit: I just realized you are offering this as a service.Last edited by reelizmpro; 05-07-2012, 10:37 AM."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

however, vinyl wraps should really not be left on for more than 2 years. you risk really damaging the paint (it's a risk from day 1 though) if you leave it on longer than that. of course, if this car is sanded, who gives a crap. vinyl is not a permanent solution, but it's a really fun and easy way to do quick changes.
are those overlay lines on the bumper? im surprised they are that visible. also surprised you didnt wrap the bumper as one unit.
for 30 hours of work, i would have charged at least $4000.
Well number one this is my car.. So it doesn't matter how many hours I spent. I did not take the bumper off so doing the front bumper in one piece was not an option. I don't agree with the vinyl lifespan, true they are rated at 7 years but they will last on a car far more than 2 years without damaging the paint. Sure there may be adhesive left on the paint when you take the vinyl off but with some isopropyl alcohol, that comes right off. I try not to charge those huge figures as most people are doing this instead of a paint job. For cars that are worth less than 10k, a vinyl job might not be worth it. For cars that are more expensive, leased, or with owners who do not want to devalue their car, vinyling protects the paint while its on, is removable and comes in a variety of really cool colors that would cost a lot if they were paint

I like the color. Basically looks like base/clear paint w/o the clear or flattening agent added.
Execution could have been a little better. not a fan of what you did with the bumpers but that's personal preference.
Roof is outright plain retarded on cars that don't have a separate roof skin.
At the very least you should have done the side window trim piece in black as well. just does not flow how you have it now.
Also why is this posted in photoshop & media forum??

Thanks man^....
Im completely open to what you guys have to say about me e30 but please try to be a little bit more respectful as I spent a really long time and a few bucks on making it look like this. I really like this car, especially the interior. Yea, vinyl has less of a lifespan than paint but I own a vinyl wrapping company so having my car not wrapped wouldn't be an option. I wanted something unique that no one else would have, this color is exactly that.
I got it redone by Creative options. Here are some pics

OP, I can see where you want to showcase what you offer having the black or faux CF roof does show that you offer that service as well.
Its just that I, along with most others with taste, do not like that look or your execution on your car or any e30 for that matter.
But its your car to do whatever you like with and I understand your reason.
Good luck wit the company!
