Wait a sec...I thought they paid YOU to wrap your car. LOL. I must be thinking of sponsored cars. With all due respect...what is the motivation to do this? Is it purely for aesthetics? I've seen a lot of NEW BMW's at shows with the matte look vinyl wrap and I always wondered what the hell the owners were thinking. I do think the darker black/gray colors look sinister in a matte finish though.

Edit: I just realized you are offering this as a service.

You mean to tell me that you got paid $66 an hour for that? Is that materials included? And that's HALF the typical price?

So if you charged the $4k you plan to a customer will pay ~$130 an hour for your services and have a wrap that lasts 2 years?

In other words you'll pay $5.48 a day for 730 days of enjoyment?

Additionally, when you remove the wrap from your previously painted car, you'll experience serious paint damage and be forced into another 4k re-wrap or a comparably priced paint job.

My certified Jew lawyer doesn't cost that much, damn.

    Car does look fresh waffleswaffleswaffles

you could not have chosen a less natural candidate for the black roof treatment - i don't think it works very well.

    nice wheels though. :)

vinyl can last up to 7 years depending on the vinyl in outdoor conditions.

however, vinyl wraps should really not be left on for more than 2 years. you risk really damaging the paint (it's a risk from day 1 though) if you leave it on longer than that. of course, if this car is sanded, who gives a crap. vinyl is not a permanent solution, but it's a really fun and easy way to do quick changes.

are those overlay lines on the bumper? im surprised they are that visible. also surprised you didnt wrap the bumper as one unit.

for 30 hours of work, i would have charged at least $4000.

Why would you even put the wiper sprayers on? How long does a wrap like this last before it peels or gets faded? I assume there' nothing you can really do protect it from sun damage, and if it gets a scratch the whole panel needs to be redone, right?

I almost had my white M3 wrapped to advertise my ice cream business last year.
The thought of doing my DS M3 is also now a possibility.

$1999 is good. My father does this on a little more of the advertising side of the business so my price ideas always account for some design work and printing.

If you don't mind revealing a few secrets I would love to know how much material you used on the car, the price per roll, and who I can get it from. I would be interested in seeing what other colors are available as I have only scene this and black. But this color is amazing.

Right now I am charging $1999 for these cars. Prices vary but my shop has just opened up so I'm not charging top dollar yet.
