(I have three kids of my own and that is more than enough) I am just voicing my opinion and then when called out saying I was young, dumb and (you know the rest)once and I understand but I did not abuse the car I worked hard for like that and would never (since I was 5 and broke a toy car) purposely mistreat something like that.

Yes they were messing around but at those speeds on that sandy surface they could have easily flipped, rolled and DIED. Do you understand that? Forget about destroying the car. Dead is forever.

Only 15-20k? That is more than many people make in a year in the U.S. and in a lifetime elsewhere. When the tragedy in Bhopal occurred the courts found the LIFETIME earning potential and therefore award to the family of the dead was under 22k and that is what was ordered paid by Union Carbide.

I am just saying I think more care should be taken with personal safety and property. My cabrio is worth much less than my 2006 Mitsubishi Endavor yet if I was forced to choose I'd save the BMW.
