M10 car is similar. Downhill I'm usually never out of 2nd. Occasionally 3rd, but I'm always in the 4-6k range. Perfect range for effective engine braking so my solid disk dont fade so quickly. So much fun & my friends wonder how I use 15$ worth of gas in one run. Uphill is an absolute snooze fest though.

i dunno, id say the e30 is more entertaining, but the w201 is much easier to drive at the limit, way more neutral handling. He is comparing a evo to a standard 2.3-16, if i had to choose to daily one or the other id make the same choice, but if i was looking for something to thrash on sunny days itd def be the m3. if you havent driven even good examples of both cars, even base models, then you really have no reason to spew fanboi nonsense.

The 190 is older than the E30 and feels like it. The fact that they compare a sport evo to a 2.3-16 makes this review even more of a joke. Obviously, he took the performance of the cars out of the equation. I have driven a few and I like the 190 but not enough to choose it over an M3. The only reason I would ever choose the 190, is because of the price difference. As i am familiar with both W201 and E30.. and i speak of a experience,, i want to share my opinion
the W201 is a LOT better car ,, but the E30 is a LOT more sportier
quality in W201 is superb,, vs ok in the E30 M3,
the gearbox in the W201 is a shit,, and i mean SHIT.. vs FANTASTIC in the BMW
(( some W201 and W124 owners who are drifting or building perfomance Merc.. they use Getrag boxes from BMW ,, and convert or do what ever to fit them.))
the turning radius on a Mercedes is superior vs BMW ,, when you are lock to lock in a BMW
you have almost an extra one circle to turn in a Merc,, thats why you can almost go reverse/back in a Mercedes when drifting
Both the S14 and Cosworth are great engines,, but the BMW have ITB ,, vs NOT in the Cosworth... the Cosworth feels a slightly more grunt.. low-down,,, flatout they are similair with similair engine size !
BMW have LSD,, vs ASD in the Merc,,
The E30 M3 is the must succesful racing car of all time ,, but the W201 is the most succesful DTM racing car on the Nürburgring.. and BMW hates that fact
in DTM spec,, the AMG W201 had more power in their engines vs ///M3 E30
but,,,,,,,,,,,, the S14 was a LOT more reliable,,
The E30 M3 is a lot more recognized icon vs W201 2.3-16 or 2.5-16
so for many the W201 is a cooler car.......

the EVO II is the most vulgar Mercedes of all time IMO..................... to much for my taste
but the EVO I is stunning
And a normal 2.5-16
