Hey! I'm in Tampa, but don't have car quite nice enough for a shoot, but I'd be down for a meet anytime! I've been looking to find some E30 friends in the area and your M3 is beautiful.

e30's at meets are rare compared to VW's from what I've seen... all my "friends aside from knowing them from car interests" are into VW's so that may have something to do with it as well.
Here's the local (to me) group I'm in for Sarasota: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SRQCDE/
A shot from a BBQ in February, you can see my white and red e30's.. there was one other person who showed up in an e30 though :p
The SRQCDE has a meet every Tuesday night.
I'm with you though, I'm down for a good meet and meeting more fellow e30 enthusiasts whether it's in Tampa, or even Orlando if the meet is big enough.Comment

I have a few things I'd wanna get accomplished before I get a shoot done, but maybe if I want a before/after thing I will take up the offer.
I know a friend of a friend with an E30 and have seen a couple at the meets I go to, but none that are really close to me.
I usually attend USF car meets, now called University Car Events. They started doing autocross, mobile dyno, etc and usually have about 1-200 cars. https://m.facebook.com/?refsrc=http%...user=675562458
Their next event is an Import vs. Domestic judging thingy. I'm not sure how it works, but I bet your M3 would do quite well there!
I see a few E30s every once in a while and spotted a pretty nice DS M3 a few days ago. I'll need to go check if it's still there and see if the owner lives around here...
I'll hopefully be getting my other E30 registered soon so I can work on my original. Shall be fun: it's ugly, loud, low, and has more bark than bite at the moment.Comment

I "liked" the group, I have a buddy who goes to school there who is absolutely NOT into cars so maybe I can come up for one of those then chill with him after rather than driving just for the meet ha!
My car looks great in pics, but it's a driver 100% so there are things here and there that I don't particularly like about it but it doesn't bother me one bit to drive it anywhere whenever I want!
I may be able to swing the 29th, I joined the event either way though, need to just have someone roll up with me, sucks driving to Tampa alone :hitler:
Get that thing registered ASAP and feel free to add me on FB, just search for "Tone".Comment

Oh true, I live about 10 minutes from there, so the drive isn't too bad for me! ;) Once I get new brakes and do the timing belt and maybe head swap it will be close enough to road worthy! I'm sure glad Florida has no inspections...
I'm not sure if I'm going to the event yet, but I don't think I have a reason not to so I probably will. Not too expensive to have something to do.
Sadly, I find new little dings I didn't know about every couple weeks and my car makes odd noises every now and again, but I love it and it's all worth it to me. Funny thing is that my crappy E30 has many less dings and dents but everything else is worse haha.
Just sent a friend request and see that you have accepted it :D
I feel you on the drive. I have driven to Sarasota for E30 parts and thankfully I had a friend with me, it would have been really boring...Comment

Yeah, that is a nice shot. Got one with the hood down? or a side profile shot?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
