God damn. That's the kind of car that will kill someone. I'd like to see how volvos super-safe design can hang with the BEAST in the engine bay.

I learned how to drive on a Volvo 740 intercooler wagon 5 speed. It was seriously an awesome car. You really had to wind it out though. The weight is killer before the turbo kicks in. Once it does though you just take off.

They arent that slow stock. I raced my buddys automagic 87 325i and it was neck and neck. I killed him 80+ even. Like I said before though, they're absolute pigs around town. The turbo lag is pretty rediculous. Plus they're heavy as fuck.

no they arent really that slow...but not FAST stock either. my buddys '88 760 turbo automagic could beat my 325is though...he did it many times before he cracked the block.

The 850 turbos are up quite a bit on power compared to the 740, I'm pretty sure.
