    Photo editing software recommendations

Guys. need some help here. I am most familiar with using ArcSoft Photo-studio. It has been more than adequate for my needs and skill level.

That said I want to try something as simple to use but with a little more to offer. I don't use a camera per-say. Mostly its the cell phone.

Any ideas for the non-commercial artist?

Lightroom offers pretty powerful yet easy to use editing and an easy to use (once you figure it out) photo management.

Lightroom is a lot more streamlined easy to use and stable.
Photoshop can be used to edit photos but it takes a lot longer, although photoshop does offer a whole new level of options it's more geared toward manipulation than editing.

there are also tons of lightroom youtube videos to show you how to use it. and it can be gotten free if you arent sure you will like it. but i do recommend buying it, as it is by far the best poor people photo software.
