Im starting to be swayed, especially since the offset I want I cant do a one step it has to be two step.

For wheels with shallow lips I think slant looks better, really small stepped lips look goofy.

Works the other way around as well, deep slant lips look goofy, but stepped ones do not.

This vote is pointless without knowing the details of the wheels you're building.

^ definitely this. a narrow slant would work but fwiw the visual effect IronJoe mentions is there for me too.

Agreed, I think that's what I was trying to say (but said poorly) haha. I think the current upsizing-stancebros making their RSs into 18" wheels and throwing them on their WRX sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.

That said, my set has a very narrow section of slant to it and it looks pretty okay. Sorry about the garbage photo.

So the verdict is in I went with a narrow 1.5" Slant Lip. Paul at EM Wheelworks is making them now, I will post up some pics when they are done!

Thanks for all the comments and the pics!

Stepped lips are for racecars. Slant lips are for BMW 3.0 CSLs ONLY.

I've seen a few cars with the slant lip and it looks pretty cool but I think I'll always be more a fan of the step lip :) gives it more character I think
