UCLA student get tazed... WTF????

I spoke to my leo friend. If theres 5 leo 2 of them should be handling the tazing and the rest of them should be restraining him. Once restrained they could carry him out. No fucking reason to taze him so many times.

I heard about this from other students, and glad the students recorded what they could. What a lot of people don't realize is that each taze runs a risk of resetting or completely stopping the heart's natural rhythm. The student was definately milking the situation for all it was worth, but the cops didn't seem to have a better plan. A bad situation for all

He gets what he deserved. If you resist police and attempt to get more people to join you then what do you expect them to do? Did they kill him? No. They did there job. If he has nothing to worry about and did nothing wrong why is he resisting? Follow the rules and you wont have any problems. If you aren't following the rules don't resist the punishment or the punishment gets worse.

There are also Muslim students gathering to make some sort of announcement of their outrage. They are playing the "Middle-Eastern" card, which probably isn't the best idea since it might be coincidental that "tazer'd dude" happened to be Muslim.

Some people just need to know when to stand down though. It's not a matter of the police trying to assert some sort of dominance or false authority. These are rent-a-cops. The police were just trying to keep things safe in the library. I have had dozens of cases of rape at my campus in UC Riverside. A girl got raped a knifepoint near our science library just a few weeks ago, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. I don't blame the police for trying to keep shit in order. The tahskjskdfhagkjdh guy shouldn't have gone fucking around and being so stupid, going around yelling this and that. Some people are just aching to die for some stupid cause. He probably shit his own pants after being shocked. I think he deserved alright.

Well, I think the part where he refused to produce his student identification, refused to leave when asked/told to, and then tried to 'rally' other students to his defense might have some bearing on the matter.
