This commercial is a success because of Ferrari - Shell is riding on their coat tails. Historically Ferrari is the only manufacturer that has competed in F1 with it's own cars. Most of the F1 field is similar to NASCAR. Different engines in somebody's chassis. Ferrari is pure sex in comparison and sex sells.

Uh no. I have never had a car that ran well on it.

For the most part, gas is gas is gas. It all comes from the same main lines.

Perhaps but different companies add and or subtract plus different vendors have been known to do things to make the gallons go further.

I have tried it in my 94 TT ZX, hated it ran like hell go beck to 76 all is well. Used it in my Cabbie hated it back to 76 all well used it in my F150 same thing.

                I'll just say no.

Oh, it must suck then if you never had a car that ran well on it.

                      Where did I say that?

I said and I quote myself:

Where in there do you see me saying it sucks?

I stated that I disliked the way my cars ran on this brand.

I believe I am entitled to my opinion that MY cars have not run well on this gas.

I have not seen a 76 gas station in YEARS.. in fact it might have been 1976 when I last saw one.

I have had good luck with Shell and Chevron.. I would avoid all those arco style places though...

certainly, but the addive packages don't. FYI shell and chevron have their own storage units separate from everyone.. such as conoco, which supplies for pretty much everyone else around here. so the shell or chevron fuels don't come from a big generic tank like you think they do (although they do start out that way).
