You will need to be in the ballpark of 500-600. That won't let you take many pictures though. You realistically need a couple memory cards, batteries, at least some UV Filters for protection and I recommend lens hoods also. It adds up fast. I am already at at least a grand... I think more. Couple of lenses and cases add up fast.
