-don't have to buy different lengths for different spacers
-hold your wheel up while you do the lug nuts
-no need for an extra tool to line your wheels up while you start the lug bolts
              -looks more racecarish
-I don't curse as much when swapping wheels
              -bolts make no damn sense

had the same thing happen, luckily noticed in pits, luckily VAC was there so i picked up new 80mm studs pretty much the same as the turner ones. but as lee pointed out these were the older ones, no experience with their newer studs.

called vorshlag - they don't reccomend the regular 60mm studs for track use. well, obviously I know that now. :p

anyway, I'm taking in 16 75mm black studs all at once. I'm going to screw them with the nuts I already have. :p

Why should vorshlag sell anything thats not meant for track use? doesnt make sense...

Probably because cheap-ass e30 owners don't want to spend $8usd per stud but still want the look of studs... There must be a reason for some studs costing $2 eacj and others being $8, $9 or even $10.

I won't blame Vorschlag fro trying to respond to market's demand. I removed my old-type Vorschlag studs to replace them by their bulletnose. Not the same quality...

definitely didn't get them for looks. They were fine for street/autox. Made autox wheel changes much easier (twice a weekend with lug bolts gets really old), saved my hubs from having bolts threaded in/out of them all the time. Just not up to the high temps and stress of track driving.

my bullet nose studs are here now, but I'll have to wait until next week to put them in. :)

hey massive, out of curiousity do you have any BBK that work on the rear of the ix?
