    Got coilovers? Cheap springs!

Killer deal on some nice springs again, Tanabe 210 springs $18 a pair! and helpers in various sizes and rates. I've got several sets and they are pretty consistent, great for fine tuning your setup and a cheap way to try a bunch of different rates. :pimp:

More Japan was founded in 2003 as a special service for importing rare, hard to find JDM parts from a select group of special Japanese automotive performance manufacturers. We import these parts directly from the manufacturer, and they come in all of their original packaging, straight from the manufacturer.

          Whoa. Cool.

450lb/in is about 8kg/mm IIRC. That makes 14kg/mm about 790lb/in. Seems about right for a stout front/rear combo, doesn't it?

How long do we typically want our rear springs to be? I don't know any of this crap.

Yep, and 65mm are probably the only ones you'd want to use.

up front: 6kg would be good for a DD (about 340lb/in, very similar to H&R race)
8kg would be good for track duty (about 450lb/in)
10kg and up (560lb/in) would be good for hardcore track duty

Obviously some prefer super stiff springs, but I'd probably be happy around 6-8kg with some big sway bars. Unfortunately nothing but 4 and 10kg are available in a 6" length or under, and there are no barrel type springs which are nice for the rear.

Shame too, I'd have loved to get a bunch of rates to switch out.

^ same. A shorter than 6 inch 8kg would be perfect

sweet! I'm going to swap my 10ks to the front and run 14ks out back :) 7" is kind of high but I think I can deal with it.

                    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

So you tested the springs you have purchased from them?

are you talking front or rear rates? I'd bump those all up 200# and you're close.
