At least I am assuming it's Akard. Correct me if I'm wrong

Wow, I had no idea what he had going on in the rearend of his red car.

Wasnt he also building a V8 car?

Guess he got all butthurt after his reaming over on bfc a couple of weeks ago...

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Yup. Both cars belong to Mike Akard. He contacted me a few minutes ago to ask if I was interested in buying a set of used Alcon calipers. I will ask him what he's up to.

Will people actually pay that much for those?

I'd say they're worth it. He has dumped an incredible amount of money into developing the cars.

The red car has some huge development work on it. It runs rear e36 suspension and weights nothing. And it is a champion car. Did I mention it runs Massive Brakes? Two seconds faster per lap at Road Atlanta over previous StopTech kit... ;)

Yeah, I can see that. I'm just curious how many people are in the market for a 40k 80s race prepped BMW. I'm sure there is somebody out there.

I have seen the first car in person at TWS. $45k is so much less than what is in that car, it's not even funny. He tears it up with CM cars pretty well. It doesn't get any better in E30 land.

If someone wanted to win a Dmod championship, this would probably be the cheapest way to do so.

Not to mention the fresh destroked euro motor built by Sunbelt themselves.

It was bad. He severely damaged any reputation he had in CR in my opinion.

Wow, that's a big difference. Thats awesome! Never knew it had an e36 rear suspension in it too, that's wild!

Just the normal arguing over a decision by the race steward at the O-Fest race. I don't think it's that big of a deal, certianly not enough to give up racing for.

Actually both B. Watts and Akard were right and wrong in the Flaggate at Road Atlanta. Rules are rules, and depending which ones you read, it make a winner and a loser.

The race marshall didn't apply the official BMWCCA CR rules about the required sequence of flags.
