Feeler: Clean shell, race/rally car worthy

its not a shell without body panels. its just a chassis at that point... a "shell" implies that it covers something...

no suspension is going to suck more for trying to sell it. because dealing with a non-roller is a bunch of added headaches.

Headaches are possible for sure, but it might be worth something to somebody.

I bought my Cali E30 with EVERYTHING and running for 250 no rust. Yours comes with nothing? are you really trying to use the fact that it's an E30 and include next to nothing and sell it? Maybe if some one has a flat bed you can sell it. I think it is worth only 150 at most.

Congratulations on the car for $250. Sounds like a score to me.

I'm not trying to "use" anything. I'm trying to "gauge interest" as stated (obviously, you are not). If someone wants to buy it for $150, that means I'd be $150 closer to my goal, rather than paying someone to get rid of it for me.

The chassis is in great shape. I saw it when I went to buy some interior pieces from SlapDash. It'd be sad to quarter it and throw it into a dumpster, as it is very straight and has no structural rust.

I was not trying to bash your post. I am sorry for it sounding like that.

I am also WICKED lucky for my current sHELL

And to your post what town do you live in that does not pay for scrap cars?

Posting before shots of the car is odd after shots seem better to me. I also know you will email them but that seems too annoying.

Also I am looking for plastic bumper trim, the kind that is removed to get at the clips on the covers. PM me if you have any.

No problem.

People do pay for scrap cars and scrap metal and the like, but I was hoping someone could use it as a race/rally car. Seems a shame to grind up a car that would make an excellent foundation for something like Spec E30, etc.

I will post some shots, but they'll be in a dark garage. I was seeing if anyone was interested before I bothered.

Unfortunately, I sold off the plastic bumpers already.

I wish it was a roller too, but I have to keep the bits that make it a roller for when I toss the rally car into the trees that first time.

If there is no interest, you can come down and cut it up. However, the catch is you have to take all the pieces with you!
