Haha yes! Well actually, I start tomorrow, but its just a summer job at the local dealership instead of an actual school. My hope is to be able to drive this thing to Purdue in August. SF to Indianapolis :)

          sale car

I am going to build a car. Taking the front and rear subframes, engine, transmission, final drive, wheels, brakes, and steering from an e28 535i, I am going to build a custom tubeframe from scratch to mount to the subframes. If I do it well, I should end up with a race car. It's taken months to get this rolling (and I'm currently only a Junior), but I have finally gotten the project approved.

Our organizaton also provide that product & for more information vist our website...........here

Firewall frame and top of transmission tunnel tacked :D
I rested one of the round tubes across the outside of the frame so I was actually sitting inside my car for the first time! What a fantastic feeling to see this thing rise up around me. My care package (Modified bell housing, Tilton OT-II 7.25" clutch, hydraulic throwout bearing, and 11lb aluminum flywheel) arrive on Monday!! Until then I may be able to work on the frame a bit more, but I have to keep it pretty open so that moving the engine and transmission around stays easy.

Next step? Well I'm planning on finishing up the transmission tunnel once I have the Getrag bolted to the M70 for good. Other than that, it's time to start on the roll bars! I'm either going to tackle the roll bars using Daniel's new bender or source help from a buddy I worked for at Infineon Raceway. THIS IS ALL VERY EXCITING TO ME. :)

It's definitely Christmas. Got my flywheel, clutch assembly, throwout bearing, and modified bell housing. No more words are necessary :)

Yep started putting it here too! For some reason no one has commented on the Mye28 on in a while, go figure.

Dropped the v12 heads off at the machine shop to be looked over and cleaned up. Should have them back by the end of next week.
