well I have no clue as to how I would get started, and it really looks like fun. How would I find a chapter or organization and contact them or do I just show up with is probably not the best way to do it. Ok, if that's nto clear enough where would I find a place to register to do it? Any membership fees and so forth. Thanks

SCCA and BMWCCA always have an even going. I suggest just signing up (it's usually only 10 dollars for novice) and seeing how you like it. Plenty of people there can give you advice. The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance. -
for a novice, you just show up.. tell them you're a n00b. don't worry about being fast, you'll probably be lost your first time out anyway.Comment

Try this place out. They offer all kinds of BMW related driving and fixing stuff. www.bmwacaportland.com I heard about them from a guy that used to live around here. He loved it. I've been too lazy/busy to go check it out.sigpicComment

Costs $30 here... not to mention the $30 on gas :P
how do you spend $30 on gas racing for maybe 3 minutes? I've done all day autox's with only 1/4 tank..Comment
