        I'm almost your exact size.... 6' - 6'1, 235-240lbs with a 36-38" waist...

I LOVE my Cobra Evolution S GT (wide) seat. I got it used off bimmerforums, and it fits PERFECT. I sat in a couple seats before purchasing, and with the high side bolsters, and excellent torso support, it was a perfect match. Has "open" head wings, so driving the car to/from the track isnt that bad either

The Cobra Suzuka GT is also an amazing seat, with slightly smaller side bolsters, and no head wings. Lower price point.

My Old man put a Racetech RT4009WTHR in my track car so he could have a play. 6'2"-3" 40+ waist and he fits snuggly

I'm a touch over 6', ~36" and love it. Biggest thing for me was the extra height for the shoulder straps, I'm all torso :)

I'm currently running custom RACETECH seats, but they are indeed pricey. However, an off-the-shelf, economical Kirkey 20" Aluminum seat they sell at most any race shop worked just fine for me from 1998-2006. In hindsight, I think it was a mistake to add the weight of the custom RACETECH seats, but since I ponied-up for a pair of RACETECH monsters a few years ago I have installed both of them in the "new" e30 "Vader".

well, if i can actualy hold off, there is a local guy with some seats I'm very interested in, but he wont be back from germany untill after labor day... If I dont end up with them, kirkey or ultrashield will likely be the way to go.
