I wouldnt mind being in the 500-600 range for a seat if it made it worth it. I looked at the corbeau FX1 wide....in pictures it looks nice, but havent seen it or sat in it in person.
Also the momo supercup xl is seeming a good option...
anyone used buddy club seats? (yes i know they are typically used in japanese cars, but i'm not concerned)
I bought a Cobra Sebring GT Pro and absolutely love it. A bit on the pricy side, but having a full head restraint seat is important. You'll only need it when you need it, but when you do...it could save your life.
BTW, I am 6'4" 210 and a 36" waist.

I have an utrashield with the black cloth pad, It is a good seat. any way you look at it racing seats are not comfortable. Good news is you are a fat bastard so you are a better off than skinny guys that usually get bruised up a bit in most race seats. One thing I like about the ultrashield is they have good lower leg support where with a sparco or like you have that pad that always seems to come loose in driver changes. If you get in a bind let me know, I may consider selling my passenger seat, just not sure about how to ship it and it may be more hassle than it is worth.
I just bought two Momo Start 2007s for a rally application and with mounting brackets, they were $850. I haven't mounted them yet, but they are comfortable and I have plenty of shoulder room. It's their entry-level, rally legal, seat.

I am 6' 240, 40+ inch waist.
Good luck!
wow...i really didnt even look at that one since it didn't have an XL label, but it actually dimensionally seems to have more butt room than the supercup...
Anyone know how readily available Momo seats are? They barely list any on their site and some say they are out of production?

Well, what size is your passenger seat? and how much would you sell for? Greyhound may ship it pretty cheap.
