after looking through some of your pictures i noticed one of the car sitting in the garage... It made me realize how nice you can make a garage look by just putting a clean race car in it lol

              Thanks

It's a fun car to drive and it's been a great project.

              I co-own the car with a buddy.

We currently run 16 lbs off the wastegate.

We played around with an electronic boost control module but it ended up causing some overboost whenever we came out of a hairpin and we broke the tires loose. We just decided to use the wastegate and manage the boost mechanically.

                  i really like this build.

Am i reading this correctly, that you guys were running on stock internals for awhile?

The head is stock. Just a 3 angle valve job and rebuilt.

Rods and crank are BMW. The pistons are JE spec for turbo app.

yes, but i'm referring to the "14 psi" era, before you guys went with the custom manifold. was that a mostly stock engine. Also, how would one go about acquiring a manifold like that? (where can i get it?)

The top and bottom end have been constant over the course of this build.

The 14 psi pull from 2008 had a couple of differences. We were running the stock intake manifold. We were running 100 unleaded back then without water injection. We made more hp and the torque curve was different with the stock manifold.

The goal with our custom intake was to broaden the torque curve and make the throttle easier to modulate on the race track.

We can build you a custom intake if you're serious about one.

when the time comes that i'm ready to install it, i'll probably take you up on that offer. Still trying to locate an m42 e30 that i really like. :p

going to look at one next week.
