    PowerSteering Yes/No?

So I'm swapping my m50 in fairly soon and just picked up an e36 rack. This will be my SUMMER DD and weekend whore.
I'm debating on keeping or getting rid of PS. What are the benefits/downfalls for track/drift?

    Thanks alot Guys,
    Mike

Never noticed or had a problem with it at autocross or track.

honestly the only time I notice it is when going less than 2mph. That and extremely hard cornering.

won't notice it's absence on track. if it's a DD you will notice it at slow speeds.

It's really not that big of a deal. Got rid of it on my last e30 and I'm going to delete it again on the current e30. You'll get use to it.

Did you leave the pump? because for the m50, id have to get a smaller belt then

It's even less than that. I only really find it annoying at a dead stop. Once you get going 1 or 2 mph there is a huge decrease in resistance.

my car has no PS and i dd it in boston. it's not bad at all. e30s are light so it's not bad. the only thing that sucks sometimes is parallel parking.

delete the pump. not worth the weight penalty.

for autocross I would keep it if your courses are tight and if you are on wide/sticky tires....otherwise if it's hpde or not much hairpins then it's not that big of a deal.
