I would say have a fan running on a thermoswitch, since you will have those times of long idling, then to go full bore, pull off, and not allow adequate time and risk high tendency of heat soak. solid mounts do make things easier to feel out. Be mindful of breaking welded spider gears if you are running high grip tires (faklen 615s, etc....)

      fan check, hooked to a finger switch check, (I prefer to be in control of the fan, just a preference)

        Some of the local guys have had great results running electric waterpumps.
