those are freakin' heavy! they also won't fit, you'd need adapters or something, which is totally not worth it on such a heavy wheel.

Rear would bolt right on, front would need a 3mm spacer. No adaptors needed. You wouldn't be able to run anything wider than a 215 without camber though, so they're kinda pointless as track wheels. The weight is a demerit too.

Yeah as of now I am thinking for next season i am going to run a 245/50/15 hoosier on my 15x8 or a 225/45/15

This is another interesting option the Falken hanabi are very cheap and come in 17x9 which will give me quite a few options for tires also. Any idea what would it take to fit this properly on a e30

If time is not a problem I would recommend Simmons wheels. They recently closed down but have been bought out by RETRO WHEELS they were very popular when they were around because they are a 3pc design and will make any fitment you want plus the styles are nice here is a link to some of there range they had.

Ahh I thought your comment was directly regarding 15x10 and spacers.

I am very interested in getting 15x10 myself.

I can only dream of that, 15x8 with the same offset and tire width I have now is about as wide as I can fit realistically without going to extremes.

it looks like the guys above nailed it as to what the extremes are

generally with narrower wheels though people go too agressive with offsets (15x8 ET0 as an example), that leave them running pizza cutter tires. But a 10 is obviously significantly wider and requires a different extreme, where strut clearance is a bigger issue than fender clearance.

I wouldn't be afraid of running some ARP quality studs and a thick spacer. The wheels are strong, light and relatively cheap. custom stuff is going to be $$$.

You may dislike stance people, but if we know one thing it's pushing the limits of fitting wheels. The maximum offsets you would be able to run on a 15x10 wheel are et-5 up front and et17 in the rear. The pinch on the trailing arm may need to be ground down a little, but not enough to weaken it.

With 16's you could do et0 up front and et22 rear. 17's et5 front and et25 rear.

My 15x7 et20 TRM's have about 1/4" or less clearance to the struts..

You're going to have 43mm less w. that 949 15x10 et25 wheel.
So a 1.5" spacer is probably the minimum unless you have some uber slim coil over setup none of use have!
