      That's what I was thinking.

What suspension are you running? That thing is freaking low.

...or there are only two other people in my class. :) But the competition level was high, i was first by only .03 of a second.

I'm running G/C and SA Konis. The back end is all the way up, and the front has about .5 inch of lowering left. I was running late that morning, so I didn't have time to slam-it

Sitting on the ground isn't always the ideal setup, what's kinda what I was hinting at with my post.

I actually experimented with different heights at one of the AutoX's, and tire pressure was making more difference than height. I just usually have my car in a small "rake," just to dial the understeer out. The Konis are set to 2 turns up front, with 2 1/2 in the back. I'm running 450/600 lbs per sq. inch springs front/rear.

Any suggestions on suspension changes? I have only had the G/C for the past 3 autoX's, so i'm still learning.

Jay (Mystikal) will probably be able to tell you a lot.

              Sold it.

Your ideas on tire pressures and raising the rear roll centre (and reducing negative camber) to help bring the rear around are right on. What else do you want to change? With the setup the car should be pretty neutral, as long as the front tires are game.

                  Thanks

Right now I'm finishing out my 14" Azenis, so the grip level is not ideal.

So, now i'm in the market for new AutoX rubber. I'm looking for something $120 or less a tire. I was thinking of the older style Hoosiers that TR has on sale for 112. They are 225/50/14, but i've been told that the life expectancy is pretty low. Any suggestions?

A032R's? One of the longer lasting R-compounds.

We personally haven't run on Hoosiers but a lot of our competitors do and they just don't last at all. One 240 SX driver eats them up alarmingly fast with excessive rear camber. We are running Kumho 710s on our m50 powered M-Technic 1 and they are the best we have ever run on. The AO32Rs will last you a while. Noisy, but fun on the street as well. If you are out there just fun, go for it. If you want to win, get the Kumhos.

I've had my Hoosiers last for 80-90 runs. Try rotating tires every 10-15 runs and flipping them after about 40-45 runs.
