    My e30 is thinking it's a VW!

I say this because it used to lift it's front tire like my old gti with stiff bar, but now it lifts it's rear like it's got the VWHIV lol

Today Round 6, was mixed bag today. The good is it wasn't super hot, and we took 1st and 2nd places today beating the SM GT by over a second :)

The bad was, after only the first run the previously flat spotted tire was on it's last leg and started to cause vibration that could be easily felt in the car. Crossed our fingers, and it held up lol.

    Pics uploading.

A nice 360 spin by co-driver! Officials were joking that I had to back my final run with a 720 lol.

Tomorrow going to run on some used Hoosier R6 tires, hopefully it wont be all out wack with 2 v710s and 2 R6s....

Ruined tire - bye bye, you did your job well :) Since the flat spot from the last weekend I've mounted the tire at the back of the car, but only after two runs it started to come apart. Hey, at least got 8 more runs out of it lol

I've replaced the rotors and pads last week again, and went with a street pad = no more locking up the tires and easier to modulate the pedal as well. Hawk HP+ was just too much I guess.

The remaining events with scca for this season are in Stockton Fairgrounds. The Porsche club runs their events in Mather, so that's another option.

I had some camera problems today (it fell) so I dont have all the runs, but here is one of the better ones

Nice. You could always try more rear spring and less sway.

What are your spring rates at? Im having a bit of inside rear lift with 450f 750r and 22mm front bar with rear disconnected. any suggestions to keep it planted? Should i up the front spring rates?

That is true! New pads/rotors fixed that, easier to modulate vs hawk hp+ !

Very odd. Try adjusting your rates: raise the front, lower the rear. The rear of these cars needs to be planted to have any chance of going fast.

Mine did the same. All the weight in the front compresses the front outside spring, not enough weight to compress the outside rear, so inside rear comes up. Needs a fat front sway bar, unfortunatley that equals understeer.
