It wouldn't be worth putting down. Nothing worth shit on it. I thought about selling it. (Or trading for something) Or just letting it sit until I can fix it.
But it is really in my best interest to get it back running up here soon and also for the winter. So Will will probably be putting in a replacement under Vaughn's roof.
There goes the rent.

My landlord is a car guy but i don't really want to put the limits or do anything in the gravel lot.
the biggest thing is time. I am very constrained as it is. Putnam is a stretch on what time I have. But I made room for it. Now spinning wrenches on a POS car in a gravel lot when I should be studying or doing other shit......fuck that.
Last semester sucked devoting a good amount of time working on my car and mooching rides back home so I could. I missed out on a good # of weekends doing it. I know it may just be one day, but that's one day I don't have. Or really want to do anyway.
Which is half the reason I'm glad my car is sticking the same for a looooong while. That and I will be very broke eventually (tution may be free, but booze, rent and electricity and cable are not)Last edited by rwh11385; 10-01-2005, 12:42 AM.

Packing up tonight to be ready to roll tomorrow after work!
Picked up some non-locking lugs to replace the factory locking ones on the Lex. Hopefully, I have no need to take the wheels off while I am there, but just in case, I hate dealing with those things. And I doubt anyone would want to steal the stock 17s on there anyway.
See you guys tomorrow at the Motel 6 Resort and Spa. I have a Presidential Suite on the Concierege level!Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3

Tech is open until sunset, you dummy. Read your email.
"Registration and Tech:
Registration and tech will be available at the Amerihost Inn, Plainfield on Friday night from 5:00 until it gets dark. Please print the tech form that applies to your car (race or HPDE), fill it out and bring it with you. All HPDE cars must be inspected, so bring the form to tech, and be sure to visit registration for your event handout, sign up for the give-aways, and any other information available. If you have a race car that has not been inspected for annual NASA tech, bring the car to tech with your tech form and any log books from other sanctioning bodies. The car will be NASA inspected, and a NASA logbook will be issued. All other race car drivers must visit tech with your logbook and tech form. Any damage from past events may also be inspected at this time. Race drivers should also visit registration at this time to pick up your event handout, sign up for the give-aways, and any other information. Registration and tech will also be available at the track from 7:00 am until about 12:00 noon on Saturday morning. Please arrive early.
Cars are not allowed in to the Putnam Park property until Saturday morning at 7:00. There is no Friday night drop off. All people must be off Putnam Park property by 6:00 PM each day. Paddock speed limit is 5mph, pit lane speed is 35mph. No exceptions.
Racers: Failure to attend race meetings will result in starting at the back.
HPDE Drivers: HPDE 1, 2, 3, and 4/TT meetings are mandatory and for your benefit. Please make all the meetings to make sure you get the information available from our instructors and racers, and to make sure you have the right wrist band to get on track as they will be changed during the weekend. HPDE 1 and 2 drivers have instructors.
NASA stickers, patches, and HPDE passports will be available at registration."
