No seriously dude, where's my car?
My car is voted violent scary ride of death. Some go slow to try to tame the CSB-destroyed monster.....I just gun it to get past it faster. Speeding in an eta, lol. And I learned an eta will do 110+ mph surprisingly.
I think he got pulled over last night.Comment

Yeah, it might be until tomorrow before I get my pics up, but they are coming. I gotta fix a broken toilet and a few other things tonight. Price of getting away from the house for a weekend like this, I guess.
I'll post more later, but this was a great time. It'll be even better next time when I'll have some experience under my belt and a more proper car.:DCurrent Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3Comment

Checking in.

I messed my mint interior with hauling junk around, and that driver's seat is stained.....but it helps so damn much.

Drove to eat with Rob, Tyler, and his dad.

Fucking cold

Low light....chilly weather....no tripod

A NASA tradition - waiting.

Random parked shot.

Yeah, I go to DEs to take pics of my car parked in the paddock.....

Cool pics, Robert. I have many more coming.
It was an awesome weekend. For anyone comtemplating a driving event - DO IT!!!! Also really cool to meet some of the guys I had not met in person.
The guy who r3ved the blue and white e30 fixed it and wound up off the track a few more times. He bought someone's old K-Prepared car and obviously did not know how to drive it.
So for all of you kiddies out there who want to build it up FUH RAZE, then take it out - you'd be better off with a good safe stock car to start and build it while you learn. I was out there rolling in the stock IS300, and I know I was nowhere near its limits. (granted it is a lot more powerful than an e30 and has something other than stone age suspension technology). By the end of the weekend, I was getting more comfortable with the lines and how to handle the vehicle. Still need to work on turn in and turn out, but I was never off the track, (unlike some of our r3v guys!) and by the end of the weekend was SO much faster than I was at the beginning. (Though Shchipkov might tell you otherwise:p)
All you Midwest people - think about the Hoosier CCA Rites of Spring event. If we can come close to having what we had this past weekend again, it will be awesome - you will not regret it. Putnam is a good track to learn because there is little chance of damage. Other than Turn 10 - no Armco to worry about - just a lot of grass (although someone told me there is a "little" but of a hill to deal with if you go off on Turn 9!)Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3Comment
