Will didn't time me. A critical C5 owner who thinks my dumb slow BMW is slow timed me with a stopwatch.

I wish I got timed last session. I dunno what session he was clockin me but I was flying by contrast after Sunday's AM with the SM guy.

Alright... the pic you have all been waiting for ;) I bought these wheels from Alex this weekend because I thought they looked really good. I didnt have time to get them mounted yet, so I just took a pic of the wheels next to my car. These will be my track wheels and I they will fit without rolling the fenders at all and they wont rub the struts.



Think they look good? I mean... for track wheels, not daily.

Wicked fast Noble



Me, getting ready to point by the John Cooper Works Cooper S. Sweet car - quite fast.



Waiting in line, Saturday morning.



Looking over the track while waiting to get in - this fence would get ripped out by a C5 Corvette early Saturday - he launched into it at a little over 100 - spun the car around and mangled it good. Will has pics, I think.

Good news is - wheel is not bent. Bad news maybe in the tire. Guy at the shop kept it there this evening - will call me in the morning.

Michael - I will be at Hoosier Rites of Spring. Heeter will be (I think) and waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles Will will at least be there to fetch water and man the jack.;)

I would have had fun on my own, but it was nice having some people there I had met before and others who I "knew" from r3v.

I already booked the honeymoon suite at the Motel 6 for Heeter and Will.

Update - tire is fine. I picked up a chunk of shredded rubber and it compacted down good in between some of the grooves and it had a thin strip of metal stuck in it as well.:shock: The guy at the dealer got it all out and found that the metal was just in the debris and did not penetrate the tire.

He did ask me what the hell I have been doing to the tires. As he had just recently replaced one, he thought the new one looked a little more worn than it should.

After Charlie spoked to me what happened (and waiting for vid) looks like fun... not many E30 guys are down in Florida that go to DEs... It would be nice to get away from Sebring or Homestead and try a track up north..

Do it! Hoosier CCA Rites of Spring is in April. We had 6 people from here at NASA, lets get even more at the CCA School!!!!!!!

I can almost guarentee 2 guys in stripped early model e30s will be there as well. And also another guy in a white stripped late model. They were at both events last year, and sorta addicted.
