    I looked into my crystal ball and it told me that it would be a major PITA.

    I don't think e28's have them. I'm guessing 7 series has tilt or telescoping?

      Im going to start making a "tilt kit" for these cars. Any interest?

          just a warning.. my 1990 airbag model had the fracture bolts on the horizontal plane, and not the verticle plane like my 1984. Basically, this means you cant just cut a spacer to drop the wheel. I actually had to cut the mounts off the chassis and weld longer mounts on to drop the wheel. Dunno if all airbag cars are like this? Pictured below, you can see the gap over the column trim. This car has miata seats, which sit ON the floor, so we dropped the wheel a good 1.5".

            Ive already come up with a solution for the gap. Very simple actually and it looks nice
