    Pagid - cold

got that right, right? and these all dust up a storm? we talking pagid sport or regular? anyone care to rate these against each other? Any of these that the dust eats rims?

According to Jon Felton, Axxis Ultimates are teh stuff. Had them on the 318is, and enjoyed them thoroughly. Of course, about the most demanding scenario I ever used them on was several runs back and forth on the Dragon.

I'm using standard pagids. I think the sports will need to be warmed up. as far as the dust, it makes a mess but it hasn't hurt my wheels any.

I have Hawk HP+'s in the front. VERY dusty. VERY VERY noisy. If you put antisqueel stuff on the back of them they dont make any noise at all. I used blue permatex from Autozone. 3 coats on the back of each one, no noise at all.

He got them up at Putnam - he tried installing them and only got one side done because something was FUBAR - a caliper bolt, I think.

I bought some and plan to try it. Just waiting for my GCs to show up so I can get to work. Everything else is here.

Back OT - I had Ultimates up front on my cabby and I have them on my IS 300. Nice bite - dusty as hell.

So are the HPS pads worth getting aftermarket pads? Is it a decent noticable performance increase over "stock" pads. I guess what Im saying is that I dont want them if theyre only slightly better than stock. If thats the case then Ill try and deal with the noise and get the HP+.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

The HPS' made a massive difference on my car, and I only put them on the back so far. Seriously, the pedal feel and initial bite were significantly changed, with no other maintenance (still old crappy fluid).

I will be getting them for the front, once my Pagids wear out. BTW, I hate these.

Jay, buy the HPS in the front ASAP. Throw the pagids in the trash.

QMR has them (max sponsor) for $80 + tax, next day.

                              You won't be dissappointed.

                              Keep it slideways!!

I think i am sold on the HPS. Worthwhile upgrade, good cold bite, dusty(dont care), how about noisy?
