      it still could be a worn trailing arm or subframe bushing (unless they were recently replaced). The best initial diagnosis in my mind is a corner balance. A corner balance is a critical step in a race car setup

        Great article L8 ApexR - I laughed when i saw the second paragraph said - Your car is really fast in right-hand turns, but understeers in left turns.

        I bet we have some major issues here. Can't wait to find a set of scales and get it measured.

          My 2 cents...

          Asymmetric handling like this will be caused by uneven corner weights or rear alignment errors or a combination of those. Since the car doesn't have rear camber/toe adjusters, bad trailing arm bushings or a bent trailing arm are possibilities. Put the car on an alignment rack and see what the numbers are. If there is much difference in camber & toe across the rear, fix that and then corner balance the car.

          When corner balancing moving weight around or adding ballast is not as effective as adding/subtracting spring pads. Playing with spring pads is powerful magic.

            Something is binding in compression in the rear.

            Or something is seriously bent, or moving a lot.

              The rear subframe has IE poly bushings installed so it should be tight. As far as control arms - they have about 15 races on them plus the original 200k when we installed them years ago. I don't have the most recent alignment sheet available right now but if I remember correctly the rear toe/camber were okay. -2ish chamber at the rear. I'll get the pry bar out over the X-mas break and see if we have any visible issues.

              We are also planning on taking it to the shop to check our balance during the break as well.

              Where is the best place to buy different height spring pads?
