    AutoX action

Sure there are faster, more modern cars, but the E30 is just too much fun at the limit.

Do it. You won't regret it. Do it with a BMWCCA chapter. I just did my first one yesterday. Unbelievably fun. The first time I've actually never felt guilty/dangerous for enjoying my car's capabilities. I only have an eta, and trust me, these things are capable. Lotta e30 love at these events. Go do one, you'll love it.

great driving, your motor sounds beefy. is it just an eta with a loud muffler?

I can't see your left hand very well in the vid but it appears that you're a little all over the place with your hand position on the wheel. You would have more control using proper hand placement and a little bit less abrupt movements of the wheel. What tires are you using? They look a little slippery :D

Tires are Star Spec Z1's, and they are slippery. I drive AutoX like I drive RallyX. Car has a super quick rack, so I know how far I can cross over center without getting tripped up, but appreciate the comment. Anyhow, I run for fun not times. I can be super smooth if there is another competitor in my class, but that's rare. If I run alone, I put on a good show, and give good rides every run. It's also fun to watch the corner workers stunned expressions as that 61 yr old crazy dude comes drifting past station, again.

I like the sliding into the finish box. Haha.

                          The engine sounds great!

could your seat be possibly slid a notch forward or the recline of the seat back in a more vertical position?

                              looks like fun
