I'm running the Toyo Proxes R888's 225/45 on 16's with a 10mm spacer. The wheels are BBS RX's and I have the offset M3 solid bushings from Condor. No rubbing up front or rear.
Lots of back and forth on this tire on the Spec forums, but I just had my first HPDE on them and thought they were fantastic.

Do you have spacers in the rear as well? I really do not want to use spacers for track. It's just my personal preference, but very thankful for the information. This information really made me understand what I will really need in the front. Thanks again.Originally posted by Cephas View PostI'm running the Toyo Proxes R888's 225/45 on 16's with a 10mm spacer. The wheels are BBS RX's and I have the offset M3 solid bushings from Condor. Cool great to know!!! So with styles 5 from an e38 with 225 45 16, 10 mm should do it?Originally posted by Eric View Postbuy quality spacers and you won't have a problem. if you look at most club/nasa race cars, spaces are often used.
of the 7 sets I've owned, i liked VAC spaces the best.
Great info!Originally posted by FLG View PostI'm also running spacers, 20mm motorpsort hardware spacers and extended studs. Both quality products, no vibration or issues.

Are you planning on doing lots of track time, or just a few times a year?
If you are going to do it more than occasionally, I'd consider getting something less aggressive for the street, and having a dedicated set of track wheels/tires.
15x8s that Wh33lhop mentioned +225/45 NT-01/R888/Rivals would make a killer HPDE setup for an E30.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com
