For those interested in the fitment of the CXRacing turbo kit, I am doing a test fit before I pull the lump, what I found was the holes on the turbo header flange were off, quite a bit of die grinding was required.....the down pipe is touching the sway bar, I think I've got a quick fix( nice to have friends with a machine shop) will post pics when done.....also, the oil filter is almost touching the header tube. Other than that, all looks pretty good.WMMFT Racing/Condor SpeedShop/BimmerHeads

Here is what I came up with to fix the mis-match between the header and the Turbo, it's 3/4" thick, has a taper in the throat, approximately 1/4" wider on 1 side.....this piece did 2 things, better flow from header to Turbo( vs abrupt lip), and it raised the turbo, which in turn raised the down pipe and got me the clearance I needed against the sway bar and gave me a bit more ground clearance.
