If you look at my earlier post, I said even said that this was dangerous, I'm not saying it isn't dangerous. I just don't see where you got such a big stick up your ass about this and decided to pick a fight with me about this.

I don't condone sketchy driving on the streets, (people are gonna do what ever the hell they want to do no matter what) but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy sometimes watching other people do it, I especially like watching bullruns. Just because I watch them doesn't mean I drive like that, and just because I watched this video doesn't mean I'm going to purposely throw my car around on public streets. But I will say that it's good to practice going sideways in a place where you're allowed too. ie: a dirt lot that somebody you know owns. And through practicing I saved my own car from heading to the junkyard on a rainy day. When I first bought my E30 it had bald tires and it started raining on my way back home. Rear end came out without any input from me and I saved it because I knew what to expect if I started to drift.

All in all the point I'm trying to make here is this. Yes he was driving like a complete idiot. Most entertaining thread I've ever started :). I know street skidding is dangerous and I could hurt someone or possible worst. Thing is I've done everything you guys said was needed to make this safe ( spotters, dead end road) and you guys still are beating a dead horse. I know a lot of you don't know how to drift or even want to but the thing is its what I like to do and I enjoy it. I had a close friend pass away over a year ago on his street bike, left to pickup a salmon for a big feast we were having and never returned. Got ran over at 60 by a women texting. My mom has brain cancer and was giving 4-6 months to live its been a year now. I've had plenty of friends and family pass away soo don't pull that card no need to be a dickhead. Point I'm trying to make is I'm not defending myself or what I did I know that's illegal but I'd really appreciate if you guys would stop throwing low blows about friends passing away or calling me a kid. I've been apart of these forums since dtmpower I was at all of the picnics that were at the xxx wether you guys like it or not I'm a part of this community and have been for 10+ years. We are calling you a kid because you are acting like one. It's not an age, it's a mentality. I outlined very clearly why we don't want this crap on here, at least without disclaimers and notes that it was an organized gig and safety was a concern, regardless of legality. If you glorify this crap without noting the lengths you went to to be safe, you could be putting innocent lives in danger.

Not that it's relevant, but you seem to think it is, so for the record I have done plenty of sliding, it just tends to be at you know, sanctioned events. You're right in that it's plenty of fun and that's why I do it.

But let's take a step back and go over what happened in this thread:
1. You post extremely dangerous looking video
2. People call you out on irresponsibility and point out innocent lives you are putting at risk. This is step one in trying to correct your behavior so you don't kill anyone.
3. Instead of mentioning lengths you went to be safe, I believe your post was "okay I won't post any more :)" read: "fuck you, I do what I want."
4. Clearly you are not going to stop, and the only thing left to do is show the video to law enforcement before someone gets hurt.

What have I been saying about his driving = dangerous. But I'm not gonna go off on him for days about turning this video in to the 5-0 and lecturing him past the point of saying that it was dangerous. But then again, even speeding on Southern California freeways now is dangerous with how many people just pull out into your lane without looking or signaling.

But I wasn't personally there so just ain't care. people do what they want.

My friends and myself bitch at my friend for driving like an idiot when he's around us because
1. Don't want to call to much attention to ourselves while all driving together
2. Don't want him to end up crashing into my car when it could all be avoided

If he goes out and drives like an idiot by himself, thats his call. If he ended up hurting or even worse killing himself by said idiot driving yeah it would suck, but that's his call and people are going to do whatever they want no matter what you tell them
