    CLIQTUNING Short Shifter e30

This E36 short shifter is the real deal.Vital for perfect shifting. Top length is 8.8" / 22.3cm Bottom max is 3.9" / 9.9cm and minimum 2.3"/ 5.8cm.

Anyone using this shifter? Can't find any info here on r3v!

At $185 seems like a good deal

I know I've seen people post about this on the Facebook page.

Seems to have a very positive following from what I've seen.

Yikes, the engineering choices made while designing it do not seem very smart. I would NOT run it in a race car.

Maybe I'm not looking close enough but it seems like not a whole lot could go wrong with it either...unless QA is trash or machining tolerances are poor.

Compared to oem it seems sturdier imo.

What, Andrew, you worry about the notch sensitivity of all those threads?

                P'shaw. It'll be fine!

Of course, with a 3:1 leverage ratio, it's one long short shifter...

I think I'd rather double down and get the irp shifter

I have one but I'm lazy and haven't gotten around to installing it because I dont want to pull the exhaust. I'm not sure what's wrong with the engineering, it Looks and feels well built to me

I have a similar shifter, definitely invest in solid trans mounts or at the minimum new stock.

It's when I see stuff like this getting a pass that I know the E30 scene as officially jumped the shark.

My friend has one in his e36, it's sorta notchy but doesn't feel terrible. Definitely an improvement over a worn out sloppy oem setup. The jam nut has loosened up on him once or twice but I had him put some blue lock tight on and it seemed to not have any issues since. His car is only a track car. I personally don't know if I would like using it everyday.
