Suspension tuning. Going from 170 hp to 240 (?) hp will require some suspension and driver adjustment to get it to put down the power.

everyone has this idea that 4cylinders are underpowered.
how ever once the car is setup and down to a relativly low curb weight
the balance could be very noticable compared to a 325is.
        I drive an e30 m3 and I will never put a 6 in it!

well....i think that some people might agree with me and say that if you swapped a m20 into an m3.....that might be kinda of downgrade....seeing as the m3's make what 200 hp vs 170 with the m20

It's gotta be one of those foreign ones, because I think I did the same, and, there is no wai I'm gonna be able to run down to the Dealer for a replacment. Maybe a Peugeot? Lancia? Is it an oval shaped 14.9654v one with the four blade connector, two male, two female?

+1 on sending the eibachs back. I have them and the only good thing that comes from them is the aggressive stance. Other than that, they have nothing more to offer than a squishy sloshy ride.

They wouldnt. It just kinda sounds like you think the only BMW 6 cylinder is the M20. Most people do the M50, M52, S50, S52 swap, and while its butt-tons faster, Im sure it is a little bit of a handful on a tight auto-x course. Fun as hell on the open road though.

It just offers a little more oomph than the S14, without the $10,000 rebuild. Different strokes for different folks

Beats me, but I'm sure the guy on bF.c has a replacement somewhere on his green sheets.
