I had a Goodrich G Sport 225/50-15 mounted on the 15x8 wheel today to see how it fits.
The rear looks just fine, tucked under the fender on my 88 325i with rolled fender lips.

The front is another story. With the 225 width tire it really sticks out past the fender, about an inch or so. At first glance it reminds me of those cars with the wheels sticking way out past the fenders. Not sure if I can live with that but we'll se once I get the other 3 wheels...might have to use 205's on the front.

If I wasn't working double shifts the next 2 days I'd try to get by to see that-is there any way you could post a pic? I'm mulling tire choices right now.
      Thanks!

            Help me decide!

Okay, as soon as the Vegas warehouse has them in stock, I am going to order a set. I don't know which size tire to run on the 15x8 rim.

            My current setup:

            H&R Race
            Billys / Konis (f/r)
Dinan camber plates (3 degree - I don't know how to type in the degree symbol)
            215/45/16 RT 615's
            Rota Slips, 16x8, ET25

The TR rims are ET20. Can I run 225/45/15 NT-01's or will they rub? This is for track only use, btw.

It'll be a tight fit for the back, but easily doable (that's what she said...). May need a minor fender roll.
